Most tutors just start. We start with a DORA reading assessment so we know exactly where your child is and what they need before we spend a single session on it. That means every hour of instruction is targeted, not generic.
From there, we use Science of Reading aligned structured literacy and real books matched to your child’s interests to build real skills in a way that keeps students engaged. This approach is well-suited for students who have struggled with other approaches.

A structured educational screening that identifies reading patterns, phonological processing, and decoding skills commonly associated with dyslexia. Delivered live via Zoom and proctored by a Florida-certified reading specialist. Includes a detailed written summary and recommended next steps.
