How to Use Your Step Up Scholarship for Reading and Math Tutoring.
ClearPath Learning Academy is a Step Up For Students approved tutoring provider, offering reading and writing for grades K through 12 and elementary math for grades K through 5. Every service on this site can be paid for with scholarship funds through the EMA Marketplace. Here is the exact order to do it in, what to reserve, and what happens after.
Your Calendly booking holds a spot on the calendar, but instruction only begins once the EMA reservation comes through. Bookings without a matching reservation are cancelled, so do the reservation first and the booking second.

Log in to the EMA Marketplace
Go to your Step Up For Students account and open the Marketplace.
Go to EMA Marketplace →Search for ClearPath
Type ClearPath in the Marketplace search. Our services are listed individually, so you will see tutoring packages, assessments and consultations as separate items.
Reserve the exact service and amount
Match the service you want to the list below and reserve that amount. Each child needs their own reservation.

Use the gold Step Up button next to your service below. No card is needed. You will get a Calendly confirmation with your Zoom link.

Reading & Writing Tutoring
In the EMA Marketplace, tutoring is listed by session count: single, 4, 8 or 16. The count is the same whether your child does phonics, the workshop or a novel study. Reserve the count, then book with the button. See what each track includes →
Elementary Math Tutoring
Math reserves exactly the same way, by session count. Each package is one subject, so a child who needs both reading and math needs a reservation and a booking for each. They can run in the same weeks. Every tutoring package includes a Renaissance Star assessment, reading or math, before session one and weekly progress notes.

Common Questions
Which service should I reserve?
If your child is in a tutoring package, reserve the package. If you are not sure whether your child needs phonics, comprehension or writing help, book any package anyway. The Star assessment guides the track, and your preference counts. If you want a recommendation first, send an inquiry and we will reply with the exact service to reserve.
I reserved the wrong amount. What now?
Email contact@clearpathlearningacademy.com before your first session. Reservations can be adjusted in the Marketplace, and we will tell you exactly what to change.
Does my PEP or FTC scholarship cover tutoring?
Tutoring is an approved expense category across the Step Up programs, but each program has its own rules and your Marketplace balance is the final word. Check your program’s handbook on the Step Up For Students site, or ask Step Up directly if you are unsure, and reserve only what your balance allows.
Do I need a reservation for each child?
Yes. One reservation per child, per service. Siblings each need their own.
